Happy Mom’s Day to all my friends, followers and family! I’ve been wanting to highlight one of my friends for a long time now and here she is … Mrs. Jeanne Busch.

“Hi Kim, I am not sure what to write. But I do know my kids are both graduating next week.”
Let me begin by saying I met Jeanne when both of our girls, mine being twins, were cheer-leading at First Redeemer Church in Cumming back in 2007. What a performance they gave months later as we watched them perform in Orlando at a national event. While they practiced 2-3X weekly, Jeanne and I became fast friends, and sometimes those are the best. We drank coffee in the lounge and talked and gossiped and talked some more. We always sat by the fireplace on cozy couches. You meet someone and you instantly click, then whenever you get together that bond is still there. My girls even went to summer horse camp with a fellow cheerleader. Timeless, I tell you.
Jeanne and I stayed in touch through Facebook (later on) and before that through Christmas parties, lunches & dinners out, and New Year’s celebrations!
Happy Mother’s Day to my dear friend Jeanne! Here’s her bio … she’s been busy and should be very proud of her two children. Great job Jeanne!

My Amanda graduates from Ole Miss “law school” and my son from UGA with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management/Insurance with honors. Amanda is also graduating with honors. My whole goal was to be a stay at home mom and get my kids through school! So I finally achieved my goal. I believed in doing homework right after school and having family meals at the table together every night.

Jeanne and her husband Charles … I have a passion for cooking and especially cooking for others. I started my own catering business at the age of 14 and have continued doing so to date. I did this so I could continue staying at home and raising my children. I taught them how to live each day to its fullest and to be compassionate and give back to others. Also to try new things and never be afraid to go against the crowd. I believe you should follow your passions in life, you only get one chance so take many. (Great advice).
Hobbies include cooking, gardening, decorating, painting, poetry, belly dancing, kick boxing, anything outdoors, biking, off reading, water sports.
(Belly dancing/I’m there!).

I don’t know if any of this is worth writing about? I’m now a mom with no kids and have to rediscover my self and my passions. I am looking forward to the next chapter and will read many great books “especially” from my friend Kim!!!
(Thanks friend) Of course, time and kids and obligations means less girlfriend time but somehow you pick up right where you left off. Please help me to celebrate all moms and the tireless giving that comes from their souls. They are definitely part of the plan; lets listen to them more!
Happy Mother’s Day to Jeanne Busch
